Active Older Adults

A.O.A. Handbook 2017

For kids ages 50 and up.

Why should the kids have all the fun?! Get away and enjoy time in the mountains campers who are 50 years young and above. Get ready for fun and new friends as this camp is designed with your special interests and abilities in mind. The choice is yours – be as active or as relaxed as you like in our fun and supportive environment.

Possible Evening Activities:

  • Theme Nights (examples: Game, Carnival, Hawaiian)
  • BBQ & Square Dance
  • Skit/Talent Night
  • Vespers

Lodging

All campers will be housed in one of the Snow Mountain Ranch lodges. All rooms have both single and double beds and a full bathroom. Bedding and towels are provided. Rooming assignments will be made prior to your arrival. If you have a preference for roommates, please indicate that on your registration form. Rates are based on a double occupancy room. There is an additional fee for a private room.

Check-in/Check-out

Camp begins at 2:00 pm on Sunday for check-in. The first meal served is dinner.
Camp ends on Thursday. Lunch is the last meal served.

Alternative Transportation

If you are flying into Denver, consider renting a car due to the size and high altitude of the property.

If you don’t want to drive up the mountain pass, we recommend a local transportation service that shuttles from Denver International Airport:
