The SIT Program provides campers who have completed the 10th grade (but are not yet 18) with an incredible opportunity for skill development in an outdoor setting. The participants will embark on a 5-day/4 night backpacking trip in the Rocky Mountains, a 4-day/3-night rafting trip on the Upper Colorado River and mountain biking adventures in Fraser, CO while gaining valuable skills and instruction. Like the LITs, SITs live in the Tipi Village while they are at camp. Participants will also complete a service project.
This program involves an application and selection process that requires initiative and dedication from the camper.
“The best part of SIT was getting to do things I never would have gotten the opportunity to do at home like rafting and mountain biking.” -SIT Camper
