International Exchange

YMCA of the Rockies is pleased to announce an International Exchange program that is heading to Europe in 2020! We have a strong relationship with the YMCA of Russia and have had exchanges with them in the past. It is a phenomenal trip through two areas Northeast of Moscow by just over an hour. We are also looking for another country (potentially Germany or Poland) that we would visit on this trip as well. We would look at a YMCA program with a strong connection to youth cultural exchange.

If you would like to be placed on an interest list, please e-mail Ian, Leadership & Trips Director, at or to be included in future updates about the trip.

Ages: 15-18

Dates: TBD, 2020

Locations: Yaroslavl and Ivanovo, Russia and another European YMCA TBD

Camp Chief Ouray Staff: We will have two staff members supervising this trip. If we have substantial interest, we may open up more camper spots which would include adding additional staff.

Mission: YMCA of the Rockies puts Christian principles into practice through programs, staff and facilities in an environment that builds a healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Our goal is to offer challenging experiences to build leaders through life-long skill development in a safe, imaginative, natural setting. We instill confidence through independence and interpersonal skills. We challenge our campers to discover their true selves.
