Let your camper experience the wonder of CCO, and the opportunity to benefit from the self-confidence, trust, friendships, fun and memories created by the summer camp experience.
Frequently Asked Questions: What are the chances my camper(s) will receive a spot? We cannot predict anyone’s chances of being enrolled in Day Camp. The lottery system is a more equitable way to ensure families can be considered for spots in our program. Am I considered a YMCA of the Rockies member if I belong to another YMCA? No, you must have a specific YMCA of the Rockies membership. We operate independently from other YMCA’s in the country. If I get a YMCA of the Rockies membership, does this mean I will get a spot? We cannot guarantee anyone will get a spot in day camp. How many weeks can I apply for? There is no limit. There is the possibility that your camper is enrolled for some weeks and waitlisted for others due to availability. Can I create an account ahead of time to make sure I am ready? There is no need to do so. During the time in which the application is open, anyone can create an account and apply. Having an open window is meant to take the stress out of the process. The lottery will take place on March 5th after the application closes. What is the cancellation policy? If you need to cancel your camper’s registration, please contact us as soon as possible so yourcamper’s spot can be given to another waiting camper. Refunds will be made if cancellations are made with at least seven days' notice, unless there is a balance due. Payments will be rolled over to other weeks the camper is registered for. Cancellations with less than seven days' notice will be charged a $30 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds if a child goes home early in cases of illnesses that happen at camp, disciplinary action, bullying or homesickness. Missed days during a session will not be refunded or credited. Refunds will be issued for medical reasons only with written verification from a physician. What if I miss the application period between February 19th - March 4th? The next chance to register would be April 1st.

Campers enrolled in Day Camp will be split into groups by age. Each of the nine groups will have ten campers and two counselors. You will receive your camper's group assignment when you check-in on the first day of their camp session.
You may make a group request for up to one other camper within the Forms and Documents section of your CampInTouch account. Requests should be mutual between campers and should not be more than twelve (12) months apart in age. Requests must be submitted seven (7) days prior to the start of your camper's session. We do not guarantee placement for group requests. Please note that group assignments are not made until the week before your camper's session begins.
