Join us for Parents' Night Out, where adults can enjoy an evening away while their campers participate in engaging themed activities. Open to campers ages 5-12, this program will provide a pizza dinner and a variety of activities centered around a different theme each month. 

*Must register and complete paperwork at least 24 hours in advance.

CCO's Parents' Night Out Program will traditionally be offered once per month on a Friday from 5:00-9:00pm, each with a unique theme and coordinating crafts, games, and activities.

     •Check-In: 5:00-5:30pm

     •Check-Out: 8:30-9:00pm

Parents' Night Out will take place at the Day Camp Building on Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA property.

There will be a pizza dinner provided. Please indicate any dietary restrictions in the "Health History - Parent's Night Out" form. Parents/guardians are welcome to pack their own dinner if desired.

Pricing:

     •YMCA of the Rockies Members: $30 per child

     •Non-Members: $35 per child

 

What to Bring:

Please send your child(ren) with warm layers, a headlamp (in case we go outside), a water bottle labeled with their name, and any emergency medication needed (epi pen or inhaler). There is space for backpack storage in the building.

Registration for Parents' Night Out is required at least 24 hours in advance. To register, please create an account or login* in to your CampInTouch account (link below). 

Due to limited availability, advanced registration is recommended. If the program is full at time of registration, you will be placed on a waitlist. 

Once logged in, you will need to complete an application to select the date(s) you would like to register for and complete payment.

Forms and Documents

The following forms and documents are also required. Campers will not be able to check-in until all forms are complete. 

     • Camper Application - standard waiver for all participants

     • Agreement - acknowledgment of behavior policies 

     • Allowed to Pickup - list of adults who have permission to check-out your camper(s)

     • Healthcare Authorization 

     • Health History - Parents' Night Out

     • Info for Counselor 

     • Anaphylaxis Action Plan (as needed for epi-pen users)

     • Asthma/Inhaler Plan (as needed for inhaler users)

     • Scholarship Application (optional)

*Please note that in October of 2024, we merged our CampInTouch systems for Day Camp and Overnight Camp. Your login should still work, but please reach out if you need assistance. Unfortunately, completed paperwork from summer 2024 Day Camp programs did not merge over. This means that any returning Day Camp families will need to re-submit paperwork if registering for Parents' Night Out programs in 2024 calendar year. All paperwork will reset in 2025 and all families will be prompted to re-submit for the 2025 calendar year. We apologize for the inconvenience. 

Financial Policies

All payments must be in the camp office twenty four hours prior to arriving. Camp Chief Ouray reserves the right to cancel any registration if the balance due is not received by twenty four hours prior to the start of the program. Forms and payments are completed online in your CampInTouch account. 

If we are required to limit or cancel sessions per the Colorado Department of Health or Grand County Public Health, you may roll over, donate, or be fully refunded all monies paid.

If you need to cancel your child’s registration for Parents’ Night Out, please contact us as soon as possible so your child’s spot can be given to another waiting child.

  • Refunds will be made if cancellations are made with at least three days' notice, unless there is a balance due. Payments may also be rolled over to future sessions or donated.
  • Cancellations with less than three days' notice will not be refunded.
  • Refunds will be issued for medical reasons only with written verification from a physician.
  • There will be no refunds if a child goes home early in cases of illnesses that happen at Parents' Night Out, disciplinary action, bullying or homesickness.
