Let your camper experience the wonder of CCO, and the opportunity to benefit from the self-confidence, trust, friendships, fun and memories created by the summer camp experience.

Please see below for information about the 2025 Day Camp Lottery.

*Please note that in October of 2024, we merged our CampInTouch systems for Day Camp and Overnight Camp. This means that you will now be able to register for Day Camp, Overnight Camp, and Parents' Night Out using the same system/account.  Your existing login should still work, but please reach out if you need assistance.

All paperwork will reset in 2025 and all families will be prompted to re-submit for the 2025 calendar year.

Day Camp Information

Please read this entire section for information about the 2025 CCO Day Camp Lottery. Please note that there are changes to the lottery process from prior years.

  • Applications for the 2025 CCO Day Camp Lottery will open on February 10th at 9:00am MST and will close on February 21st at noon (12:00pm) MST.  You may apply using your CampInTouch account.* You can apply any time within these dates/times to be entered into the lottery. By applying, you are indicating your interest in enrollment in our day camp, this does not guarantee enrollment.
    • REMINDER: Campers must be 5 years of age to attend their first day of camp per our Colorado Child Care License.
    • NEW for 2025: Please ONLY apply for the session(s) in which you would like your camper(s) to be enrolled in. For example, if you only want your camper(s) to be enrolled in one session, only apply for the one session that is your top choice. There will be a question on the application to indicate your backup choices if your top choice session is unavailable. If you would like your camper(s) to be enrolled in multiple sessions, you should apply for multiple sessions.
    • The following additional options will be available for the 2025 season:
      • Horseback Trail Ride: $60, for campers aged 7+. Designed for beginner riders, this will be a 20–30-minute trail ride offered through the CCO Overnight camp barn staff on Thursday mornings. Participants must wear long pants and closed-toed shoes, helmets will be provided.
      • Aerial Adventure Course: $35/camper, for campers who are a minimum height of 4’9”. Run by Snow Mountain Ranch staff and will take place on Friday mornings.
    • The Lottery Process:
      • Once the application has been closed, families will be sorted into the following groups:
        • Group 1: Families enrolled in 2024 CCO Day Camp
        • Group 2: Families waitlisted for 2024 CCO Day Camp
        • Group 3: YMCA of the Rockies Members
        • Group 4: Local families new to CCO Day Camp
        • Group 5: Non-local families new to CCO Day Camp
        • Families who fall into more than one category will be placed in the highest group they are eligible for. “Local” families refer to families who have a listed primary or secondary address in Grand County, CO.
      • After all applied families have been sorted, each family will be randomly assigned a lottery number within their group. Starting with group 1, lottery number 1, family applications will be processed. If there is space available in the session(s) applied for, the camper(s) will be enrolled, and the deposit will be processed. If there is not space available, we will check to see if there were backup sessions listed in the application and will try to enroll in order of preference. If there is not space available in a session, campers will be placed on the waitlist.
      • Once each group has been processed fully, we will send out confirmation emails to families to indicate if campers have been enrolled, waitlisted, or both. All groups will receive confirmation emails by the end of the business day on February 28th.
    • After the lottery application closes (February 21st), the next opportunity to apply will be March 1st. There is no guarantee that spots will be available at this time and your camper’s name may be placed on a waitlist.
    • Staying at Snow Mountain Ranch? A select number of spots will be held for Snow Mountain Ranch property guests. To inquire if any spots saved for SMR guests are available during your stay, please contact the Program Director, Emma Marshall, at emarshall@ymcarockies.org or 970-887-2152 ext. 4144.
