CCO Day Camp


Let your child experience the wonder of camp, and the opportunity to benefit from the self-confidence, trust, friendships, fun and memories created by the camp experience. Participants will enjoy age-appropriate activities such as hiking, archery, songs, crafts and much more.  Please register your camper in advance, as space is limited.


**At this time, we are serving year-round Grand County residents only.


Our Traditional Day Camp program runs from mid-June through mid-August and is available Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, for children 5 years to 14 years old. Day Camp will offer 1-week camp sessions starting June 15, 2020. Activities will include; archery, hiking, nature activities, Gaga, sports & games, crafts, and more!

Our Adventure Day Camp is for ages 12-15 and will feature more action! Activities may include; mountain biking, archery, hikes above 10,000 feet, hatchet throwing and more. This camp will be featured starting the week of July 27-30.

Day Camp is hosted through Camp Chief Ouray (CCO), our overnight summer camp at Snow Mountain Ranch. CCO was selected as the best overnight summer camp of 2019 by Colorado Parent Magazine and has been making Camp Magic for over 110 years.


  • $120 per child, per 1-week session for YMCA of the Rockies members
  • $140 per child, per 1-week session for non-members and off-grounds guests
  • $10 one-time registration fee per child


  • Drop-off: 8:00 am – 9:00 am
  • Day Camp: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Pick Up: 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm
